Drag pieces together. Neighbors snap when they line up in the right arrangement, and joined pieces move as one. To free a joined piece, yank it quickly or double tap it. Pinch with two fingers to zoom in on the board, and double tap the water to see the whole board again. In Diabolical, select a piece and use the rotate buttons; steps are 45 degrees, so north is always reachable.
